Durham Region says a southbound curb-lane restriction is ongoing on Liverpool Road (Regional Road 29) in Pickering, from the 401 off-ramp at the Walnut Lane extension to Pickering Parkway.

The intersection of Liverpool Road and Pickering Parkway will also be affected throughout the project. The Region says the work is expected to continue until December, although unfavourable weather may affect the schedule.

The work includes road widening, traffic-signal modifications and turn-lane work connected to a new development, according to the Region.

The Region asks drivers to use caution around pedestrians, cyclists and road crews. Durham Region directs drivers to its TrafficWatch interactive map for traffic information.
