The Community Centre at Uxbridge Arena remains closed following a vehicle collision that damaged its exterior wall. The Township of Uxbridge says final structural inspections and assessments are complete and a restoration plan has been established.
A temporary wall is expected to be installed by Sunday, September 27, allowing the community centre to safely reopen on Monday, September 28. The Township says permanent repairs to the damaged exterior wall will take place after the temporary wall is in place.
The arena remains open while the community centre is closed. The Township thanked facility users and renters for their patience as the work proceeds.
